Spain has some superb luxury and classic cars for sale, but buying one from abroad, or as a new resident, is rarely straightforward. Listings can hide liens or unpaid fines. Service histories are often incomplete. Sellers price differently for foreign buyers, and negotiation happens in Spanish. Then comes the paperwork: NIE numbers, transfer tax, DGT registration and, for imported or classic cars, inspections and approvals most buyers have never heard of.
